About Us: Our Journey to Excellence
Founded in 2012, Black Bear Spa has been
a beacon of excellence in the pool and
spa service industry. However, our journey
began long before that, on May 13, 2004,
when we embarked on the path of
learning pool and spa service
maintenance and repair. In March 2012,
Black Bear Spa LLC officially began its
mission to assist customers with their
pool and spa needs, recognizing a void in
the community that needed to be filled.
Armed with our corporate knowledge and
training from international manufacturers,
we started servicing and repairing hot tubs
on the Olympic Peninsula. Our
commitment to quality and customer
satisfaction soon led to a growing demand
for our services, prompting us to expand
our operations and add more technicians
to our team.
With each successful maintenance visit, our
reputation grew, allowing us to set our
sights on new horizons. In 2020, we
achieved a significant milestone by
receiving Washington state Disadvantaged
Business Entity and Minority Business
Entity certifications, recognizing our
dedication to diversity and inclusion. That
same year, we opened a Sam's account to
explore new opportunities and expand our
reach. Currently we are a federally certified
Small Business & HUBZone entity.
In the same year, Serenity, who was 10 at
the time, began trade show sales and
regional holiday events for Serenity's
Candles, a subsidiary of Black Bear Spa LLC.
Serenity's Candles quickly became a
sensation, with multiple sell-out shows
through the Pacific Northwest's largest
trade time event for the holidays.
Our journey has been one of growth,
innovation, and unwavering commitment to
excellence. While our path has led us to
aspire to become an international pool
maintenance company, we remain
grounded in our core values of integrity,
quality, and customer satisfaction. Join us
